Understandably people are upset about the moveon .org ad from 2 days ago. Having been around publishing, I can state that accepting advertising from a buyer is not routinely reviewed by editorial staff, rather, it is a call by publishing (in parlance of newspapers and magazines, a publisher handles the business end of the publication), and, rarely if ever does a newspaper take a stance on advertising except if there appears to be a violation of FCC laws...
