How to overthrow a dictator in space?

My fellow space captain and I were in the midst of leading a rebellion against the militant dictators of the galaxy, but our attack failed and we are losing hope. We are wanted dead for treason and are completely outnumbered. All we want is space freedom. How do we stop it?
