Why won't the adhesive on my new kitchen drain dry?
So, we just had some plumbers put in a new kitchen sink, cabinets, everything. However, on both of the drains (double bowl sink) the glue they used on the drains won't dry all of the way. It moves when you touch it, kind of like gum, except it comes apart easier. The day they finished it they told me I could use it, just not to shift to sink for 24 hours so the counter adhesive could dry. So, I did use the faucet, did some dishes, but I noticed the weird adhesive around the drains, so I stopped, dried it, and I haven't been using it for a day but it hasn't changed. I just feel like it shouldn't be like that... I mean, if I wipe a sponge over it, it comes off on the sponge. Anyway, maybe too many details, but if anyone could provide any knowledge on this that would be great :) I just want a normal sink.
